When we bought our home in Libertyville, it hadn’t been updated in 20 years and needed a few improvements. Chris Lazzaretto did a fantastic job gut rehabbing our full bathroom and updating our kitchen in a way that complements the character of our 1920s home. The best part was that we arranged to have the job done while we were on vacation, and Chris managed to get it all done while we were gone as promised. In the new bathroom, Lazzaretto built a custom vanity and medicine cabinet designed to match the existing built-in linen cabinet in our hallway. They match up perfectly and look beautiful. We would definitely hire Lazzaretto again to handle any renovation.

Chris recently finished a basement for me. This was the fifth major project of mine that he has completed. Other work included building a new garage, remodeling a utility room, major expansion of an existing garage, and finishing another basement. He responds to phone/text messages very quickly. Typically, progress is made on a project daily. He is a hands-on general contractor who, if necessary, will work side by side with his sub-contractors. His project time estimates are accurate. Chris’ integrity doesn’t leave me thinking about whether I can trust what he is telling me. That allows me to focus completely on the project.
